The Russian army is equipped with the latest radar station (RLS) "Fara-VR". The complex is designed to reconnoiter moving ground targets at any time of the day or year.
The complex automatically transmits target data to external consumers and can aim a heavy automatic small arms at the target.
The radar provides automatic scanning of space in a given sector, detects moving targets, determines coordinates, speed and direction of movement of targets.
The weight of the portable kit is 12 kg, the detection range of a tank is 10 km, a single soldier is 4 km with an accuracy of up to 3 m. The operating time of "Fara-VR" is up to 12 hours from standard batteries, the average time between failures is 5000 hours.
