The Russian army is equipped with the latest radar station (RLS) "Fara-VR". The complex is designed for reconnaissance of moving ground targets at any time of day or night and year.
The complex automatically transmits target data to external consumers and can aim a heavy automatic small arms at the target.
The radar provides automatic scanning of space in a given sector, detects moving targets, determines coordinates, speed and direction of movement of targets.
The weight of the portable kit is 12 kg, the detection range of a tank is 10 km, a single soldier is 4 km with an accuracy of up to 3 m. The operating time of "Fara-VR" is up to 12 hours from standard batteries, the average time between failures is 5000 hours.
