"High-Precision Systems" handed over a new batch of Pantsir-S SAM systems to the Ministry of Defense

The complex is designed to protect industrial and administrative facilities from massive UAV attacks

The High-Precision Systems holding (part of Rostec) has delivered a batch of Pantsir-S SAM systems combat vehicles to the customer as part of the state defense order. The "Pantsirs" have passed the necessary tests and were accepted by representatives of the military acceptance.

The complexes of the "Pantsir" family show high efficiency and stand guard over the Russian sky, the manufacturer noted.

The calculations of the "Pantsirs" in the process of combat duty have repeatedly detected and destroyed complex air targets, and the complex has proven its ability to hit almost the entire range of enemy air attack weapons.

In the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, it is represented by the Pantsir-S1 modification with a multi-channel target acquisition and tracking system. The complex is capable of hitting air targets at a distance of 200 m to 20 km, flying at speeds up to 1000 m/s.

Earlier www1.ru reported that specialists turned a kamikaze drone into a rocket, accelerating it to 280 km/h.
