The state-owned JSC "Concern of Aerospace Defence "Almaz-Antey" transferred all its civilian projects to JSC "Romanov". This was announced by the Deputy General Director of JSC "Concern VKO "Almaz-Antey", General Director of JSC "Obukhov Plant" Mikhail Podvyaznikov.

According to Podvyaznikov, as part of the development of the line of civilian products, the concern has allocated the production of civilian vehicles into a separate area and created a specialized enterprise for the implementation of this task — JSC "Romanov".
A few days ago, it became known that "Almaz-Antey" electric e-Neva crossover, which was created by the "Almaz-Antey" concern, will not be launched into production in 2026 at the former Toyota plant.
All the technological groundwork and competencies created and acquired by the E-Neva team, including at the former Toyota plant in St. Petersburg, as well as the team itself, have now been transferred to JSC "Romanov".
Currently, the team of JSC "Romanov" is working on organizing the production of BAZ civilian trucks in the Shushary industrial zone of the St. Petersburg Automobile Cluster.
