An-26 turboprop aircraft dropped bombs on targets in the Pacific Ocean

During the exercises, pilots also practiced evading air defense systems

An-26 military transport aircraft of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) carried out bombing during exercises in the Primorsky Territory. This was reported by the press service of the fleet.

During the exercises, the crews of the An-26 practiced landing by parachute, and also carried out practical bombing of targets simulating important "enemy" objects.

In addition to providing landing and bombing, the pilots used techniques to evade the air defense systems of a mock enemy.

The An-26 is built according to the aerodynamic configuration of an all-metal, free-carrying, twin-engine monoplane with a high wing. The aircraft is equipped with two AI-24VT turboprop engines, as well as an auxiliary RU-19A-300 turbojet engine.
