The premiere of Lada Iskra is not far off. AvtoVAZ continues to prepare for the presentation of the model, the mass production of which will start on April 19.
At the plant in Togliatti, a batch of cars in various bodies, colors, and with different types of transmissions has already been sent to the press park. This usually precedes test drives for the media or exhibition events.
Lada Iskra will take its place in the company's model range between Granta and Vesta. The Iskra line will include cars of three body types - sedan, station wagon, and cross-station wagon. The cars are built on the CMF-B modular platform from the Renault-Nissan alliance, which includes more than 400 new parts after modernization.
