A 1980 Lada Niva with a mileage of 220 km has been put up for sale in Tolyatti for 30 million rubles. The car has been "hanging" on classifieds sites since at least the fall of last year.
The owner claims that the acquisition of a "time capsule" is an investment, so the car will become even more expensive every year.
The car in the condition "as from the factory" (including cellophane and seals on the seats) is remarkable not only for its excellent condition, but also for the fact that it took part in the celebrations dedicated to the half-century anniversary of AvtoVAZ
In the summer of 2016, the former president of AvtoVAZ, Nicolas Maure, and the chief designer of the model, Petr Prusov, took a ride in it.
The SUV is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with 75 hp, combined with a four-wheel drive system and a 4-speed manual transmission. So everything under the hood of the VAZ car is standard.
