MRC "Smerch" Shoots Naval Targets from AK-176MA and AK-630 Mounts in Kamchatka

The artillery firing took place in the waters of the Avacha Bay

The small missile ship (MRC) "Smerch" of Project 1234 performed artillery firing off the coast of Kamchatka. The event took place as part of the combat training plan, the press service of the Pacific Fleet (TOF) reported.

The exercises took place in the waters of the Avacha Bay. The crew fired from the ship's universal automatic AK-176MA 76 mm caliber gun and the automatic AK-630 30 mm caliber gun at coastal and naval targets.

The sailors also practiced counter-sabotage actions. During the maneuvers, attention was paid to training in repelling attacks by UAVs and unmanned boats (BECs) of a mock enemy.
