Footage of tests of the new Lada Iskra car on public roads in Tolyatti has appeared online.
During the tests, the car is checked with a load — plastic containers with water are installed in place of passengers
Lada Iskra will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. Buyers will be able to choose between two mechanical gearboxes: a 5-speed from AvtoVAZ and a 6-speed from the Chinese manufacturer WLY. There are also top versions of the car with a CVT.
It was previously reported that NPP "ITELMA", a manufacturer of automotive components, developed a new control and diagnostics system of electrical equipment for the assembly line for the production of Lada Iskra cars at the request of AvtoVAZ.
