Toyota held a meeting for the first time in three years with former official dealers of the brand, which took place in Dubai from February 9 to 12. A non-disclosure agreement was signed at the event.
At the meeting, they apologized for leaving, stopping supplies, and fighting imports — saying they didn't want to, but were forced to. And they promised: as soon as the situation improves, they will be the first to stand on the doorstep.
The next similar event is scheduled for March. Tentatively, more specific information about the company's future in Russia will be presented at it.
As a reminder, car production at the Russian Toyota plant was suspended in 2022. After that, the enterprise was transferred to the management of NAMI, which is engaged in the production of Aurus cars.
