At the "Ural Locomotives" plant (part of "Sinara – Transport Machines"), a traction motor and inverter and gearbox elements for a high-speed train were presented.

The asynchronous traction electric motor TAD650 is produced by "Russian Electric Motors" (part of "Transneft"). Its nominal power is declared at 650 kW, the nominal shaft rotation frequency is 5900 rpm, efficiency is at least 95%, and weight is 750 kg.

The traction inverter was created at the NPO "Horizon". The device is compact. Domestic software and a modular architecture were used in its design. The inverter efficiency is at least 98%.

Currently, the "Ural Locomotives" plant is preparing a site for the start of production of high-speed trains.
