The four crew members who are preparing to fly to the International Space Station as part of the NASA SpaceX Crew-10 mission were sent to standard pre-flight quarantine at the Johnson Space Center in Houston on February 26.

Crew Commander Anne McClain and Pilot Nicole Ayers from NASA, as well as mission specialists - astronaut Takuya Onishi from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and cosmonaut Kirill Peskov from Roscosmos - will spend the last two weeks before launch in isolation. This is necessary to prevent possible diseases that could lead to negative consequences when meeting other crew members on board the space station.

The Crew-10 will arrive at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Friday, March 7. For several days, they will be quarantined in the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building while final preparations for launch are completed.

The crew will go into space on Wednesday, March 12, at 7:48 PM ET. The launch will be carried out aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft, which will be launched into orbit by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from launch complex 39A at NASA Kennedy.

Crew-10 is the tenth SpaceX crew rotation mission to the space station as part of NASA's commercial crew program. The crew will spend several months aboard the orbital laboratory, where they will conduct spacewalks, conduct research demonstrations and experiments aimed at improving life on Earth and exploring deep space.

Earlier, the Russian governmentagreed to negotiations between Roscosmos and NASA on the third addition to the agreement on mutual flights to the International Space Station.
