The first shots of the engine of the new Lada Iskra Sport model have appeared. Under the hood of the new AvtoVAZ product is a VAZ-21126 engine with a volume of 1.6 liters and 173 hp, but without a turbine.

The racing Iskra differs from the racing Vesta in its smaller mass and dimensions, and from the racing Granta in the presence of a front subframe.
Iskra Sport received a 1.8 liter engine with 173 hp. The car is equipped with a hydraulic hand brake, rear brakes from Lada Vesta, a self-locking inter-wheel differential, special shock absorbers and stiff springs.
