The Soyuz-2.1a space launch vehicle with the Progress MS-30 cargo spacecraft has been transported to the launch complex of the Baikonur Cosmodrome. This was reported by the Roscosmos press service.

After installing the rocket in a vertical position, specialists continue preparations for the upcoming launch.

The launch of the Soyuz-2.1a carrier rocket with the Progress MS-30 cargo spacecraft is scheduled for February 28 at 00:24 Moscow time.

At this time, the Progress MS-28 cargo ship is preparing to undock from the International Space Station (ISS). It will give way to the new spacecraft.

The undocking of Progress MS-28 from the Zvezda module will take place today shortly before midnight. After the engines are turned on on February 26 at 02:25 Moscow time, the ship will leave orbit and enter the dense layers of the atmosphere, where it will disintegrate. The unburned elements of the structure will fall into a non-navigable area of the southern Pacific Ocean.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Roscosmos assembled the Soyuz-2.1a rocket to launch the Progress MS-30 spacecraft to the ISS.
