The first images of a Lada Iskra part have appeared online — the front suspension arm. The photo shows a stamped metal part that looks very different from a similar part on the Granta.
The resulting image indicates that AvtoVAZ is increasing the production of pre-production vehicles.
Lada Iskra will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. Buyers will have a choice of two mechanical gearboxes: a 5-speed from AvtoVAZ and a 6-speed from the Chinese manufacturer WLY. Top versions of the car with a CVT are also provided.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Balakovo Rubber Technology plant in the Saratov region continues to develop the production of popular components for AvtoVAZ cars, including for Iskra.
