The Ministry of Defense of Russia has created a new system for accelerated innovation implementation called "Voentekh" (Military Technological Initiative), the press service of the department reported.
The project became a transformation of the current technical council under the auspices of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and the People's Front, which was an effective tool for the accelerated implementation of rapid innovations.
The department noted that in order to expand the powers and functionality of the system, combat testing groups are being formed, which will conduct tests of samples in real combat conditions, as well as study and implement initiative technical developments created on the ground.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation emphasized that one of the key tasks of "Voentekh" will be the training of specialists and the introduction of new products to the troops. The created structure involves an extensive and qualitatively new system of interaction with production laboratories and the civilian scientific community.
