The production of Geran-3 strike drones has been localized in Russia. The drones have a structural similarity to the Iranian Shahed-238.
"Geran-3" are equipped with a two-circuit turbojet engine, which allows them to reach speeds of up to 600 km/h and fly up to 2500 km, thus being practically invulnerable to mobile air defense (AD) groups with anti-aircraft machine guns and automatic cannons.
The strike aircraft is equipped with a turbojet engine. The starting weight of the drone is more than 200 kg, the warhead is 50 kg, which is equivalent to the damaging power of a cruise missile.
The new "Geran" are also capable of working in conjunction with other types of drones. Up to 200 strike drones can be involved in one attack. UAV attacks destroy military factories, energy facilities, warehouses and other strategic targets.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that rocket "Lightning" destroyed targets in the Sea of Japan with artillery fire from AK-176 and AK-630.
