The Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter completely "outdanced" the American F-35 during the flight program at the Aero India 2025 forum in Bangalore. This was reported by Rostec's press service.
The state corporation noted that the Su-57's demonstration lasted about 7 minutes and took place at extremely low altitudes - from 100 meters.
During this time, the aircraft performed more than 20 aerobatic maneuvers. These include Pugachev's Cobra, the bell, the spin barrel roll, and others. Some of them can only be performed by Russian fighters.
Rostec added that it is not entirely correct to compare the machines, since the F-35 is more of a light strike aircraft for working on "ground" targets. The Su-57 is a heavy multi-functional aircraft for gaining air superiority, striking ground targets, and controlling other aircraft.
All this increases maneuverability. The better the maneuverability, the more chances there are to evade enemy missiles when suppressing its air defense system, and the reaction speed of the combat vehicle to the changing operational situation increases.
Earlier,www1.ru reported thatthe modernized Yak-130M aircraft with AESA radar may be sold to Asia and Africa.
