The Rostec State Corporation will present the RPL-7 belt-fed handheld machine gun at the IDEX 2025 exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The weapon is so ergonomic that John Rambo from the famous movie would envy its ease of use, said Bekhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Armaments, Ammunition, and Special Chemistry Cluster of Rostec.
According to him, the designers of the Kalashnikov concern paid great attention to the ergonomics and convenience of the machine gun. The RPL-7 is relatively small and lightweight compared to its competitors.
Allows firing with both the left and right hand. If the character Rambo existed, he would envy such capabilities.
The RPL-7 belt-fed handheld machine gun is designed to engage enemy personnel, firing points, and unarmored vehicles. It uses 7.62mm 57-N-231 cartridges, as well as cartridges with T-45/T-45M tracer bullets.
Optical and night sights, a laser pointer, a flashlight, and other accessories can be installed on the machine gun. The basic kit includes a low-noise firing device (PMS), a belt, a front handle, a detachable bipod, ammunition boxes, and machine gun belts.
Characteristics of the RPL-7 Handheld Machine Gun:

- Sighting range - 800 m
