«Яковлев» начал работу над тремя образцами нового самолёта Як-130М с бортовым комплексом обороны «Президент-С130»

The Irkutsk Aviation Plant will manufacture them

PJSC "Yakovlev" (part of the United Aircraft Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation) is actively working on three prototypes of the latest Yak-130M combat training aircraft. The timing of the first flight will be known based on the results of the completion of the manufacture of the first prototype and ground testing of the aircraft.

The company noted that the capacity of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant is sufficient to manufacture new Yak-130Ms. In terms of design, the new aircraft is identical to the Yak-130.

The manufacture of prototypes of the "President-S" onboard defense system containers for installation on the Yak-130M aircraft and preliminary tests is underway.

The Yak-130M is capable of carrying a combat load of up to 2,500 kg and is designed for a maximum take-off weight of 10,290 kg.

The updated aircraft is equipped with two AI-222-25 turbofan engines, each of which develops a maximum thrust of 2500 kgf and improves the aircraft's flight characteristics. In addition, engineers installed four more containers to carry up to 16 bombs weighing 100 kg.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Rosoboronexport presented the improved BMP-3, taking into account the requirements of modern combat.
