Part of the flight crew of the Algerian Air Force (AAF) has already begun retraining on the fifth-generation Su-57E multirole fighters. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damanцев with reference to a video report broadcast by a local TV channel.
The analyst recalled that the Algerian army already consists of 44 "4++" generation Su-30MKA multirole fighter-bombers with onboard PФAR-RLS N011 "Bars".
During the period of operation, the flight crew of the Algerian Air Force managed to adapt to the controls of the Su-30MKA, which are structurally close to those of the Su-57. Consequently, the retraining process will be much more efficient and smooth.
There has been no official confirmation of this information from the Russian authorities yet.
The Su-57 is the only aircraft of its kind, equipped with a supersonic, low-observable, adjustable air intake. This technical solution allows the fighter to demonstrate the world's best indicators of supersonic range, flight duration, and maneuverability.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the superdrone "Vobla" was assembled for the Russian military from four UAVs.
