The Pantsir-C1M anti-aircraft missile and gun system (SAM-gun system) has proven itself in real conditions as an effective means of countering unmanned aerial vehicles. This was announced by the General Director of Rosoboronexport, Alexander Mikheev.
At the Aero India 2025 exhibition, Rosoboronexport presents various air defense systems manufactured by "High-Precision Systems". First of all, the Pantsir-S1M SAM-gun system, as well as the Verba and Igla-S MANPADS. These systems have proven themselves excellently in real conditions, including for engaging unmanned aerial vehicles.
Main characteristics of the "Pantsir-S1M" using the example of hitting an aircraft with an effective scattering area of 2.5 m² and a flight speed of 300 m/s:
- Missile armament in range — 1200-30000 m, in height — 15-18000 m
- Gun armament in range — 200-4000 m, in height — up to 3000 m
- Number of simultaneously engaged targets — 4
- Maximum speed of engaged targets — 1000 m/s
