Mechanical engineers of the Rosatom State Corporation have shipped pumping equipment for the Tianwan and Xudapu NPPs. Nuclear power plants in China are being built according to the Russian project, the corporation's press service reported.
Petrozavodskmash manufactured sets of main circulation pump unit (MCPU) housings for power unit No. 4 of the Xudapu NPP and four pump units of power unit No. 7 of the Tianwan NPP.
The equipment will be installed in the reactor hall of power units to ensure the circulation of the coolant in the primary circuit.
In total, taking into account the new shipment, Petrozavodskmash has sent about 800 tons of pumping equipment units to China. The company also supplies hull and tank equipment for the petrochemical and pulp and paper industries to other countries.
