Tanks with full hull protection from kamikaze drones will appear in the Russian army. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Main Armored Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major General Sergei Shalyony.
According to him, the engine-transmission compartment, turret, stern, and sides of the tanks are fully protected.
We have worked out the issue of protecting the tank from FPV drones, which will completely cover the entire tank, but the protection will be located on the turret. This will allow the gun to work 360 degrees, without limiting combat capabilities.
He cited as an example tanks with protection that will soon be sent to the troops. According to the Major General, they have fully protected turret, engine-transmission compartment, stern, and sides.
