Chinese car manufacturer Changan and Russian company Avtotor are negotiating the possibility of launching the brand's car assembly in Kaliningrad.
Currently, the Changan car lineup in Russia includes 12 models. Among them are sedans, liftbacks, crossovers, and pickups, with prices ranging from 1.5 to 4.5 million rubles.
Changan already had Russian experience – cars were assembled at a factory in the Lipetsk region until 2019. And Avtotor has extensive experience as a contract manufacturer.
According to Maxim Kadakov, retail prices for popular cars of the Chinese brand will not change. If the cost does not increase — it is already a gift for the buyer.
