The Obukhov Plant (part of the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation) has completed the development of a radar station (RLS) to detect drones during attacks on infrastructure facilities. The new product was presented at the NAIS-2025 exhibition.
The first advantage is a very low level of radiation, which contributes to its very high stealth, that is, it is almost impossible to detect it at a distance.
The locators can be combined into a single system to provide more effective monitoring of the protected area. In the event of any violation, the system immediately displays information on the operator's console.
The device is highly reliable, compact in size and weight, and easy to operate. Its principle of operation is based on continuous radiation and multi-channel reception and processing of complex signals. The radar power is comparable to the characteristics of a mobile phone, which makes it convenient for use in various conditions.
In this regard, it can be installed even in residential areas and does not require the installation of sanitary protection zones.
