The Kalashnikov Group will present the first domestic AK-12 airsoft gun at the All-Russian StrikeCon 2025 festival, which will be held in Moscow at the Tishinka shopping center on February 8-9. This was reported by the company's press service.
The AK-12 airsoft gun is a joint development of the Kalashnikov Group and StrikeArms LLC. Specialists were able to integrate professional airsoft components into the actual dimensions of the AK-12.
Most of the external parts of the gun are mass-dimensional analogues of the AK-12 body kit. All key body elements are identical in size to the components of the combat product, have an authentic coating and correspond to the strength of the real AK-12 (the main individual small arms of the Russian Armed Forces).
This product is the first almost 100% Russian product for airsoft: it uses 94% of domestically produced parts. And the use of parts of the AK-12 mass-dimensional model radically distinguishes it from foreign copies of the AK, since in fact the user receives a full-sized and weighted AK-12 assault rifle.
According to the head of the group, the more airsoft guns there are among airsoft enthusiasts, the faster the adaptation to real combat weapons will take place during service or training camps. The use of such guns in basic military training lessons.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov developed two new modifications of the AK-12 assault rifle.
