Footage of an unusual Russian 122-mm self-propelled artillery gun (SPG) "Gvozdika" has appeared on the Web, which has almost completely changed its appearance.

The self-propelled gun received additional armor for the side projections and the upper front of the hull.

The lower frontal part was also protected from kamikaze drones with chains, and additional headlights appeared in the front part. Anti-drone mesh screens were mounted on the turret.

"Gvozdika" was adopted in 1970. The self-propelled gun was created on the basis of the chassis of the MT-LB multi-purpose armored transporter, on which a 122-millimeter D-30 gun was installed. The maximum firing range is 19.3 km.

The self-propelled gun can move on the highway at a speed of 60 km/h, and on rough terrain - 29 km/h. The crew of "Gvozdika" consists of four people: commander, driver, gunner and loader.
