The Russian Armed Forces have begun using a new type of FPV drone with camera traps, Forbes writes. The technology allows the military to transmit video signals, while the device itself is assembled from inexpensive parts.
This drone, assembled from cheap, commercially available parts, has become an effective and stealthy spy, the likes of which the American military could only dream of.
Analysts added that Russian soldiers are secretly placing such drones along roads. The drones transmit video images of all passing cars and nearby objects without attracting attention.
Devices with surveillance cameras show that the inherent aerial mobility of drones, combined with other technologies, yields impressive results.
