The Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter can be equipped with the Kinzhal hypersonic missile to the detriment of the aircraft's stealth. This was stated by Honored Military Pilot of Russia Major General (Retired) Vladimir Popov.
I think the Su-57 will be able to carry the Kinzhal. But the fact is that here it loses the element of stealth. That is why, most likely, we do not place a container for the Kinzhal complex on the Su-57. I assume that tests are underway of a version of the Kinzhal specifically for the fighter.
Popov added that with the Kinzhal on an external suspension, the radar signature of the Su-57 will decrease to the level of fourth-generation aircraft. According to him, the new weapon will make the Russian fighter a more convenient target for the radars of a hypothetical enemy.
