Fresh shots of the pre-production Lada Iskra SW station wagon have been released — now in blue. AvtoVAZ presented this novelty to Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plant in Tolyatti.
The Lada Iskra SW will be equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with 90 and 106 hp, a six-speed "mechanics" or a Chinese variator — depending on the version. The car may occupy a niche between the Lada Vesta and Lada Granta.
The exact date for the start of sales of the Lada Iskra is still unknown, as is the price of the new product. Tentatively, the start of production is scheduled for April of this year.
