A racing version of the Lada Iskra with a 173 hp engine has been put on display at the Lada Sport dealership in Togliatti. It participated in the "Race of Champions" at the AvtoVAZ test site in Sosnovka over the weekend.
The car is not available for purchase, but anyone can admire it.
The Iskra modification was developed for racing, in compliance with all the principles of preparing cars for sports competitions on ice. The body was equipped with a welded safety cage and lightened.
The suspension has stiffer springs compared to the regular Iskra, special shock absorbers, and spherical hinges were used in the shock absorber mounts and suspension arms instead of silent blocks.
