Very soon, AvtoVAZ will officially present Lada Iskra — the car will be shown in all colors and body types. The first show will take place as part of a visit to the enterprise by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and, concurrently, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AvtoVAZ, Denis Manturov.
Colorful cars have already been prepared, rehearsals for the future show are in full swing, the assembly line is being painted, cleaned, and washed, and television will naturally be working at this celebration of life. We need to wait a little longer, and we will see it too.
Production of the new Lada Iskra car will begin in March of this year. The model will go on sale 1.5-3 months after the start of production.
Lada Iskra will be equipped with a 1.6-liter engine. Buyers will have a choice of two mechanical gearboxes: a 5-speed from AvtoVAZ and a 6-speed from the Chinese manufacturer WLY. Top versions of the car with a CVT are also provided.
