Crews of the Tor anti-aircraft missile systems (SAM) provide motorized rifle units with a reliable shield against any air attack weapons. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
The main task of the crews is to protect critical infrastructure, transport arteries and entire settlements. The air target can be anything from an FPV drone to rockets of multiple launch rocket systems.
During the special military operation, we mainly work on unmanned aerial vehicles, such as Furia, Leleka. We destroy them very effectively, but we can also work on cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs, and multiple launch rocket systems.
The Tor is capable of detecting, capturing and destroying up to four airborne targets simultaneously while in motion. The crew of the combat vehicle manages to occupy a firing point, deploy a launcher and detect a target in just two minutes.
