In December 2024, the Kalashnikov arms concern fully completed the execution of contracts for the production and shipment of high-precision weapons. The company handed over 9M333 anti-aircraft guided missiles (SAMs) for the Strela air defense system, Vikhr-1 air-launched anti-tank guided missiles, and Kitolov-2M guided artillery projectiles to customers. Kalashnikov has increased the production of these products several times over.
Alan Lushnikov, CEO of the concern, noted that customers' interest in Kalashnikov products is determined by their combat experience.
For almost three years, the world has seen how high the scientific and technological competencies of Russian specialists are. We will continue to increase the production of demanded products in order to strengthen the defense capability of the state.
The 9M333 SAM is used by the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system and its modifications. The missile is designed to engage low-flying aircraft and helicopters, remotely piloted aircraft, and cruise missiles in all conditions.
The 122-mm artillery ammunition with a guided projectile with semi-active laser homing "Kitolov-2M" is designed to engage single and group, stationary and moving, armored and unarmored targets and engineering structures.
The Vikhr-1 guided missile (UR) is used for high-precision engagement of enemy armored vehicles and fortifications, moving ground targets, and medium-speed helicopters and drones. The Vikhr-1 is used with Ka-52 Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopters.
All special products were shipped exactly on time. This became possible thanks to the opening of additional production sites equipped with new equipment.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new launcher has been developed for the Lancet series kamikaze drone.
