On Monday, January 13, AvtoVAZ and the enterprises that are part of the joint-stock company resumed work after the New Year holidays.
Production of components and assembly of cars have begun on all lines of all company plants.
The automaker used the "holiday" period to prepare the welding, painting, and assembly shops for the serial production of Lada Iskra, which is scheduled to begin in the first half of 2025.
AvtoVAZ also began to modernize engine production lines for the production of a new 1.8-liter unit for the Lada Niva family, chassis production, and metallurgical production.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that AvtoVAZ stopped production of Lada Iskra because there were not enough components for assembly.
