In 2024, military units and formations of the Eastern Military District (EMD) received more than a thousand units of weapons, military and special equipment. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
Thanks to the equipment deliveries, it was possible to strengthen motorized rifle, tank, artillery units, as well as radiation, chemical and biological protection and logistics units.
The military received modernized T-72B3M tanks, Tornado-S multiple launch rocket systems, heavy flamethrower systems TOS-2 "Tosochka", armored vehicles for logistics units and other models.
Earlier, footage of combat work of the Rubicon kamikaze drones of the Ministry of Defense center appeared. They destroyed a disguised self-propelled gun in a forest belt.
