A batch of Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems has entered service with the motorized rifle unit of the Central Military District, stationed in the Orenburg Region. The new weapons significantly increased the combat capabilities of the motorized rifle units of the Central Military District when performing combat missions.
The Tor-M2 SAM system is designed to provide air defense for motorized rifle and tank brigades of the ground forces in all types of combat operations.
The complex is capable of shooting down guided and adjustable aerial bombs, air-to-surface missiles, tactical and army aviation aircraft, anti-radar missiles, cruise missiles, helicopters, and drones.
