Domestic Evolute electric vehicles have faced extremely limited demand. In 11 months of 2024, only 1372 electric vehicles were sold.
According to "Russian Automobile", the projected annual result is unlikely to exceed 1.5 thousand cars, which is significantly lower than the expected plan of 12,000 units for 2024, announced at the beginning of last year.
Considering the initial plan for 2025, which was 15,000-18,000 cars, the project is becoming increasingly impractical. Such a result will be difficult to achieve, which means that Motorinvest will not be able to reach profitability within the planned timeframe. Doubts also arise about the possibility of complying with the required percentage of production localization under the SPIC program.
This will lead to additional financial problems, which, in turn, will require continued financing through credit and investor funds. However, in the future, these resources may run out, which will jeopardize the further operation of the project.
