The Solaris brand, under which budget models similar to the popular Kia and Hyundai have been produced in St. Petersburg since February, has updated the trims of its two models: the KRS sedan and the KRX cross-hatchback. The information appeared in the brand's price lists.
The Solaris KRS sedan, previously known as the Kia Rio, now has several new options. In particular, a base Comfort version with a manual transmission has appeared, priced at 2,060,000 rubles. This change has led to a decrease in the minimum cost of the model by 8,000 rubles compared to the previous initial Classic Audio trim, which is no longer offered.
In addition to this, the Kia Rio model has new Luxe AV versions with manual and automatic transmissions. A Style variant, equipped exclusively with an automatic transmission, and the top-end Premium trim, which is also available with an automatic transmission, have also become available.
Now the trims and prices of the Solaris KRS are as follows:
- Comfort 6MT — 2,060,000 rubles;
- Comfort 6AT — 2,160,000 rubles;
- Luxe AV 6MT — 2,140,000 rubles;
- Luxe AV 6AT — 2,240,000 rubles;
- Style 6AT — 2,280,000 rubles; Prestige 6AT — 2,345,000 rubles;
- Premium 6AT — 2,465,000 rubles.
In the line of "off-road" hatchbacks Solaris KRX (formerly known as Kia Rio X), there have been changes, but they are not so significant. Now the car is available in two new trims: Comfort with an automatic transmission and Luxe AV with a manual transmission, which costs 100,000 rubles less than the similar version with an automatic transmission.
The Comfort version now costs 100,000 rubles less than the similar trim, but taking into account the price increase, the minimum cost of the model has increased by 67,000 rubles.
Currently, the range of trims includes the following versions:
- Comfort 6AT (base) — 2,161,000 rubles;
- Comfort 6AT — 2,261,000 rubles;
- Luxe AV 6MT — 2,241,000 rubles;
- Luxe AV 6AT — 2,341,000 rubles;
- Style 6AT — 2,381,000 rubles;
- Prestige 6AT — 2,446,000 rubles;
- Premium 6AT — 2,566,000 rubles.
Earlier, Solaris announced a price increase for the HS sedan. Depending on the trim, the cost of the car will increase by 10–89 thousand rubles. The base Active Plus version, equipped with a 1.4-liter engine and a manual transmission, has become more expensive by 10 thousand. Its price was 2,020,000 rubles instead of the previous 2,010,000.
