Flight tests of the SJ-100 aircraft continue at the Ramenskoye airfield of the M. Gromov Flight Research Institute. This was reported in the press service of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).
In 2025, they will continue and become even more intense, so we are summing up certain results and building a bridge to the next year – we will try to regularly tell you about the certification tests of the SJ-100 and MS-21.
On December 20 of this year, a flight was performed under the program of additional certification tests. During it, the stability and controllability characteristics of the aircraft were evaluated at maximum and minimum speeds, as well as with various configurations of mechanization and landing gear. The crew also checked stability and controllability in the path, transverse and longitudinal channels with the engine turned off.
According to preliminary estimates, the aircraft demonstrated good stability and controllability. Accurate quantitative data will be provided after analyzing the means of objective control.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the developer of the SSJ-100 improved the design of the aircraft landing gear on the recommendation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
