The company "Scantronic Systems" (part of Rostec) has developed the inspection and examination complex ST-2635PG. The equipment is capable of "shining through" bodies even through 35 cm of steel.
Such a complex has already been installed on the border of the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs.
ST-2635PG combines two modes of operation: stationary and portal. The equipment allows to obtain high characteristics of X-ray images, providing high-precision recognition of groups of materials by effective atomic number.
The complex allows detecting potential threats, such as explosive and narcotic substances and weapons. Also, the product allows to determine the presence of counterfeit products, illegal or prohibited goods.
