Масштабные планы: опубликована схема развития метро Москвы до 2035 года

The metro network will expand, with new lines and sections opening

The development scheme for the Moscow Metro until 2035 has been published. The updated development plans for the Moscow Metro include a number of major changes to the capital's transport infrastructure.

Among them are the extension of the Sokolnicheskaya line to the south to Shcherbinka and to the north to the Los platform, as well as the continuation of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line from the "Ilyinskaya" station towards Krasnogorsk. Significant attention is paid to the development of the metro in TiNAO.

This year, the section of the Troitskaya line from "Tyutchevskaya" to "Kommunarka" will open. In 2025, it is planned to complete the section from "Novatorskaya" to "ZIL" and the construction of an electric depot for the Zamoskvoretskaya and Sokolnicheskaya lines. In 2026, the section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line from "Delovoy Tsentr" to "Boulevard of General Karbyshev" will open, and in 2027, the extension of this line to "Ilyinskaya".

By 2028, the construction of the Biryulyovskaya line will be completed, and new sections will also be built, such as "Golyanovo" and "Yuzhny Port". In 2030, the section of the Biryulyovskaya line from "Kuryanova" to "Biryulyovo" and the continuation of the Troitskaya line to "Troitsk" will be completed. In 2032, the section of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line from "Ilyinskaya" to "Izumrudnye Holmy" will open, as well as a new electric depot.

One of the largest projects will be the extension of the Biryulyovskaya line to Shcherbinka and further to Vnukovo Airport. This 57 km long line will be a key part of the New Moscow transport network. In the future, it is planned to create a central section that will connect the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya and Biryulyovskaya lines, providing a transport connection from "Delovoy Tsentr" through key stations to "ZIL". The total length of this line will be 93 km, which will require 160 trains and several electric depots to service.

The creation of a line from Shcherbinka to Vlasyevo in New Moscow is also being considered, but the timing of its implementation is still open.

In the next 10 years, the Moscow Metro is expected to undergo intensive expansion and modernization, especially in New Moscow. The implementation of these plans will require significant investment, including financing for the construction of the Rublyovo-Arkhangelskaya line, part of which will be provided by Sberbank.
