Пожарные в Башкирии возьмут в помощники искусственный интеллект

The Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ufa Interuniversity Campus are joining forces to introduce digital technologies in security

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) for finding missing people and predicting forest fires has begun in Bashkiria. This became possible thanks to an agreement between the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Bashkiria and the interuniversity campus in Ufa.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and scientists will work on creating a program that, with the help of drones and "machine vision", will help to find people in the natural environment faster. This will improve the accuracy and speed of search operations.

It is also planned to develop a system for analyzing data to predict the spread of forest fires. With the help of "machine learning", the program will be able to identify areas of the forest that are at risk, which will help prevent fires.

In addition, specialists will create a simulator for safe evacuation, which will offer various routes in the event of an emergency.

The program should work like a navigator, comply with fire safety requirements and instructions, and offer several options for safe evacuation
