Прокачку нефти по трубопроводу «Дружба» приостановили

Reason — technical problems

Since December 19, oil transportation via the Druzhba pipeline has been suspended due to technical reasons. The duration of the repair work is currently unknown.

A problem arose at the Unecha pumping station, located in the Bryansk region and one of the largest in Central Russia. The malfunction disrupted fuel supplies to Belarus and the European Union.

One source told Reuters that the problem at the pumping station would be resolved within a few days. Another source claims that oil supplies will not be restored until January.

Supplies of Urals oil via the Druzhba pipeline average about 300,000 barrels per day, equivalent to 1.3 million barrels per month. These volumes are the main raw material for MOL's refineries in Hungary and Slovakia.

Earlier, Rosneft announced the release of a new hydrodynamic simulator, RN-KIM. This device is designed to predict oil production volumes. The developers have expanded the functionality of the simulator, which will allow modeling the operation of wells with hydraulic fracturing (HF) fractures, taking into account their complex geometry and the characteristics of fluid flow in the fracture.
