The Governor of the Perm Region, Dmitry Makhonin, announced a new regional project related to the development of robotics in Russia on his Telegram channel. According to him, the Perm-based company "Robotech," which produces its own industrial robots, 3D printers, and automated equipment, has become a participant in a priority investment project. With its help, Robotech's products will soon enter mass production.
Under the investment project, Robotech is increasing its production capacity to launch mass production by 2027. The production capacity at the first stage will be 500 robots per year, and by 2030 it will increase to 5,000. They also plan to create new jobs.
Robotech's solutions in the form of industrial robots for loading into machines, welding, defect detection, sorting, and other tasks are already in demand not only in Russia, but also in Belarus, India, and Kazakhstan.
The investment project also took care of the talent pool. The company has committed to installing modern equipment for the "Robotics" laboratory at Perm Polytechnic.
