On Sunday afternoon, the vessel "Volgoneft 212" was damaged due to bad weather in the Kerch Strait. A Mi-8 helicopter flew to help the cargo ship.
There are 13 people on board, the crew requested assistance from the emergency services. It is known that there are petroleum products on the ship, there has been no information about the spill yet. Mi-8 of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations with rescuers from "Krym-Spas" flew to the scene.
Also, the rescue tug "Mercury" of the Marine Rescue Coordination Center left the Kamysh-Burun Bay of Kerch.
