A reconnaissance drone tracked down the "Grom" missile system on the front line, after which it was blown up by the Russian OTRK "Iskander-M" produced by JSC NPK "Konstruktorskoye Byuro Mashinostroyeniya" (KBM).
During the duel of operational-tactical missile systems, the Iskander-M missile burned the enemy's missile system.
"Iskander-M" is an operational-tactical missile system developed in Russia. Its task is to destroy enemy missile defense and air defense systems, as well as important objects that they protect. The range of destruction is up to 500 kilometers.
The complex uses two types of missiles: the quasi-ballistic 9M723 with an electronic warfare system that can create interference and be controlled throughout the flight path, and the R-500 cruise missile, capable of automatically flying around the terrain.
"Iskander-M" has been in service with the Russian Armed Forces since 2014. At the end of 2019, all units of missile forces and artillery were completely re-equipped with this complex.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia has begun developing engines for a domestic reusable super-light rocket.
