The Belarusian plant "Brestmash", which belongs to MAZ, has already established the production of the BMG M5P minivan. The first car was handed over to the administration of the Brest region in honor of its 85th anniversary.
In the photos, you can see that the MAZ BMG is based on the Dongfeng Forthing Lingzhi, which, in turn, is a copy of the Mitsubishi Space Gear, which was produced in the 1990s.
The BMG M5P minivans will be available in a seven-seater configuration with both gasoline and electric engines. The planned production capacity is up to 10 thousand cars per year. In the first year, it is planned to produce 1.4 thousand cars. Several BMG M5P samples have already been manufactured at the enterprise for certification tests.
Minister of Industry Alexander Efimov, on behalf of the Ministry and on his own behalf, congratulated the chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Petr Parkhomchik, on the 85th anniversary of the formation of the Brest Region.
What kind of holiday is it without a gift? On behalf of the industrial complex, the leadership of the legendary Belarusian region was presented with a certificate for one of the best models of equipment from the Ministry of Industry enterprises – the BMG passenger car.
As a reminder, the Brestmash enterprise currently produces light commercial vehicles of the MAZ-281 and 365 brands. These models are updated versions of the JAC Sunray and Gazelle Next cars.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia plans to purchase a record number of Belarusian buses. The issue of purchasing four thousand units of equipment is being considered. Although the specific manufacturer was not named, it is assumed that we are talking about products from the Minsk Automobile Plant.
