A new school bus has been presented in Russia. In appearance and technical characteristics, this bus does not differ from other Gazelle NN models. However, it became the first vehicle equipped with three-point seat belts, without which it is now impossible to pass certification.
This school bus is a real competitor killer from GAZ.
As a result, GAZ's competitors who have not passed GOST certification will not be able to participate in government procurement of school buses.
This car also has an alcohol interlock, without which it will soon be forbidden to transport schoolchildren.
As a reminder, in 2025, as part of the program to update vehicle fleets in the regions, it is planned to finance the purchase of school buses. A total of 3,100 such vehicles will be purchased for a total amount of 11.4 billion rubles, funds will be allocated from the federal budget.
