The assembly of tourist and intercity buses has begun at the "Automotive Industrial Technologies" plant, which is part of the Sollers Group. The plant's capacity will be 1,500 vehicles per year. Sales are scheduled for December 2024.
Currently, the fleet of tourist and intercity buses in Russia is mainly represented by imported counterparts, and we expect that the launch of the new production will close the needs of the Russian market.
The buses will be sold under the Sollers brand. The tourist bus will be called SA9, and the intercity bus will be called SA6. These are copies of the Chinese models Ankai A9 and A6. Anhui Ankai Automobile itself belongs to the JAC corporation, and Sollers, as you know, assembles JAC trucks and pickups under its own brand.
